Let me tell you, without exaggeration, that these are hands down, the best earbuds, I have ever bought and for the price, it's even better. The sound quality is not only supreme, but it's also superb and if you're looking for that extra bass, like I was, then look no further. These earbuds, are very light weight. They fit comfortably in your ear and they even come with a second pair of earbuds, just in case you don't like the way the other one fits. They're really easy to store and put away, when not in use. Now, let me get back to the bass.... the bass these earbuds provide is very powerful and crazy good. It's like you're sitting in a car, with an custom stereo system and if that's not enough, all you need is a great music player and it brings out even more bass. The only minor dislike, I have towards these are the fact that it doesn't have up/down volume buttons, but it does have a single button in-line remote, with mic. That lets you take/make calls, play/pause music and cycle through tracks, so that's good enough, for me. I'm telling you, now...don't go out looking to purchase some expensive earbuds or even headphones, because for a reasonable cost you can get you a $20 earbud, that sounds just like your more over the top, expensive ones.Read full review

Average, at best. I prefer Jbuds for listening to my music but I needed a cheep pair for work. Just over a year ago, I purchased an inexpensive pair of Skullcandy INK'd. I must tell you that for over a year, while I weld, grind and do physical labor this pair kicked ass. Great sound and very tough. A few weeks ago, being tired, I let my Ipod sit on the table and my wonderful cat decided that my skullcandies would make a wonderful chew. I ordered these 2.0 hoping for the same quality and sound. I have been disappointed. cheep and tinnier sound that misses both highs and base. These are exactly what you pay for 9 bucks worth. Seller send them in a decent time frame and they are Skullcandy so I can not blame them, but I am still disappointed. These are 2 starts at best and will end my relationship with Skullcandy. BTW, the cat is now a nice muffler to keep my hands warm come next winter.Read full review

First of all, I have tried many pairs of headphones. For the sake of the reader, please understand that I have never owned a pair of headphones over $50. The INK'D headphones made by Skullcandy are, at first sight, cheap and low quality. I needed a new pair of headphones because the left earphone shorted out on mine, and so I got on eBay to find some. Originally, I was planning on buying a pair of expensive Bose in-ear headphones, but I was low on money. I tried to find an alternative, and I seemed to be directed to buy Skullcandy headphones. I've seen them in popular music stores but never really considered buying them. I was unwary of buying them because brands like Sony and JVC are so well known for their sound equipment that they are virtually unbeatable, unless of course you buy the Bose or something high-end. So, I took the chip off my shoulder and decided to buy them, what's there to lose, they only cost 14 dollars. I got the package, and as with any in-ear headphones, they included 3 different sizes to fit your ear specifically. Immediately, I plugged it in to my iPod and started listening away. All I can say is the sound was so breathtaking. I've never had such high-quality, low cost in ear headphones. A few years ago I bought the Apple in-ear headphones. That was a mistake, they always fell out. I've also tried the JVC Marshmallow type earphones, and it seemed like there was no bass. Sony has the same problem. These headphones have been the best for me. The bottom line: These earphones have amazing bass quality compared to even more popular name-brand headphones. If you want a low cost headphone that delivers good bass/treble, these are for you. I was so surprised that I have since bought 3 pairs. They are worth every penny.Read full review
I really like these earphones. The sound quality is surprisingly good. I use these for my IPod mini, my phone, and my computer. (Yes, I liked them so much, I have bought 3 so far and am gifting anothe set to my daughter soon for use with her IPhone. I am surprised a how much true base I hear (no, it is not boosted up out of p[roportion, at least to my ears) and the sound of sharp percussion (eg sitar, cymbals, etc.) are reasonably clear and drop off quickly, as they should. When I have the earphones in they exclude most sound outside (no, they are not noise-silencing like the Bose, but just keep outside sounds out). I am indeed pleased and I would pay more for these if I had to, but am happy the price is such that I can afford multiples withn no qualms!.
This is my second pair of Skull Candy ear buds. I traveled recently and decided to take them with me and I wasn't disappointed. The sound quality is awesome and they fit my ears perfectly (after switching to the smaller set included in the package). A great way to enjoy your music/videos on the road !
