    Samsung 840Pro SSD Drive: Old But Still Excellent

    It may not have the latest and greatest controller, but the original design holds up well to even the current crop of SSD drives. In fact, in many circumstances it still out performs the current EVO series drives. 256GB is large enough to hold your OS, applications and still leave plenty of room for storing all the things we end up keeping. I swear by mine, it gives aging hardware a whole new lease on life.

    Samsung 840 Pro models are very fast! Great support through Samsung Magician.

    I have been buying lightly used Samsung 840 Pro SSDs for great prices and installing them in friends/family members' computers, and they could not be happier. The 840 Pro 256 GB models used to be $180 when they first came out... now you can get them for ~40% of that price. Deal! The 840 Pro is faster than 95% of the newer models, and it has an excellent 5 year warranty. And firmware updates and SSD tweaks are so easy through Samsung Magician. You should download the program and use it. Samsung has great support. Highly recommended.
