    Glad I Tried It

    I've been using a Brita pitcher for years now and had always used the regular filters. This is the second time I've used the Longlast filter and plan to keep on using it. I really do notice a difference in the way the water tastes. Always very fresh and pure with this type of filter. The only issue I had was with the first one I bought - the water starting draining really slowly out of it very quickly. With this second one I bought, it's been much better and is still draining rather quickly. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. But I would still highly recommend this filter to anyone who uses a Brita pitcher. The taste and purity of the water are what really matters and this product delivers on those points.

    Poor Fit

    I have the traditional Brita pitcher and have always used the regular Brita filters,that last two months. Decided to give the Brita long last filter a shot and found the filter does not fit tightly inside the filter opening. When you fill it with water the filter pops back out due to the water pressure, so you can’t fill the pitcher completely as is normal with the traditional filter. I have to keep pressing it back down while the water is filtering through otherwise the contaminated water gets mixed in. A headache. After I use these I will go back to the old filters and just change them every couple of months. These were POORLY designed almost as if for another brand of water pitcher altogether.

    Extend ? We will See?

    Extended Model? We will see, most last three months during normal use. This model is longlast meaning its supposed to last 6 months. So i can't tell you now, but it is easy to set up and a tighter seals around filter, so filtering is slower. Another negative filter is slightly small then regular model filter, but see no issue inside pitcher.
