  • Great book of Terpning's art

Howard Terpning is my favorite Western painter. This book shows many of his paintings - clearly and in beautiful color. I definitely recommend it. Everyone has to love his paintings, and this book has a great collection..

  • One of the most lauded painters of Western art

The seminal collection of paintings from Howard Terpning, master painter of the Plains Indians, features 75+ full color paintings. This lavishly illustrated album also features numerous historical paintings, including scenes of the Army's pursuit of Geronimo and other Apaches in 1886.

  • Beautiful well written book!

Beautiful pictures, very interesting subject matter. If you admire American Plains Indians and art work by one of the best western realist artists, this hardcover (artist signed)book is for you. Well worth the price.

  • The art of Howard Terpning

I love my book. It is the only way I could afford something he has signed. I have always enjoyed his work. I like that he only has a specific number of signed prints and doesn't reprint them over and over. One day I will get one of his prints.
