Great new improved upgrade!
I have been using X10 devices since the '80's. It's about time for a serious upgrade to any of their products. An older wall appliance module (XPS3) started to act "flaky", turning off spontaneously. I didn't know if the module was just getting old or if I have noise on my line. I replaced using this module, and it is working flawlessly. If it was noise, the the AGC circuity did the trick. I greatly appreciate the softer "click", and it makes sense that the indicator is lit when the room light that it controls is off (nice night light feature). A poor choice but the only one still on the market
This switch claims to be white, but it's more of an eggshell color. It looks awful when surrounded by an actually white wall plate. Moreover, the design of the paddle leaves a lot to be desired, as there is only one momentary switch (on the bottom half of the paddle) that acts as a single on/off toggle. The Leviton DHC switches (now discontinued and unavailable) were of much nicer design in that their paddles had two momentary switches: up for unconditional "on" and down for unconditional "off." The relay is hardly what I would consider quiet. The "clack" sound when this switch toggles can be heard from the other side of a large room. Remote control of this switch by X10 commands does work, so at least it's not a total failure.This switch claims to be white, but it's more of an eggshell color. Heavy duty with nice wire terminals that make wiring safe and easy.
Excellent product for non-dimmable LED. The remote switch as used in the three way application is very difficult to actuate. I'll probably swap it out. Although the relay is touted as a "silent' relay the click is very easy to hear. Still, it fits a lot of different applications well and is extremely reliable.

20 amp wall switch
Works lie a charm. Have yet to run a load through for a long period, that will be the test. I have it on a circuit that runs a submersible pump in front of my dock, I then start the pump in late winter to melt the ice around the dock . I had been doing this manually ,this required a trip to the cottage 160km, now its done via phone.
