    Haley's Story

    EXCELLENT BOOK. I WAS WISHING THAT THIS BOOK CAME IN LARAGE PRINT, BUT I GUESS IT DOESN'T. HOPEFULLY, AFTER MY CATARACT SURG AND LENTS IMPLANT I WILL BE ABLE TO READ EASILY.

    Wonderful book and full of history.

    I watched the mini series on TV many years ago. I rate it as the best mini series on TV. After so many years, I love reading the book because there is so much that I do not remember. I have read hundreds and hundreds of books.......Roots is at the top of my list.

    I'm happy

    My book came in a bit late but it was all right. All the pages are intact and it's still readable. I'm glad I got the book when I got it because this year is the 30th anniversary of the book and I heard that it's been taken off the list from my classmates. Sucks to be them! Anywho, it was great because I got my book in one shape.

    Roots, Alex Haley.

    I love stories about Black people. Alex Haley's autobiographical/historical account of his family from the first stolen life from Africa to his trip back to Africa to find "that old African" again, is the journey that we African-Americans can relate to every day of our lives. It was his destiny to do the footwork for all of us. Thank you, Mr. Haley.
