The battery compartments are specifically designed and embossed for the dual A23 12v Batteries. Unlike the cheaper modified/shortened AAA style to accept the dual A23s. I believe this one made by the 24Volt mod company is superior than the cheaper sort of crudely fashioned others. Haven't installed yet, the guitar is having other work done atm. I am very confident by all the positive reviews online, the 24v Mod will be great! Fair price also 👍
