    2013 Ford Escape Fix!

    My wife's 2013 Ford Escape Titanium repeatedly displayed a "parking aid fault, service required" message along with annoying beeps after a recent trip. The Parking OFF button was also illuminated. With the car in reverse and the parking brake engaged I listened to each sensor from the back to front with a mechanic's stethoscope. The right front one was dead quiet instead of emitting rapid clicking sounds and had a tiny dimple at the edge from gravel impact. I removed the license plate and plate holder and using a mirror and flashlight I was able to reach one hand through that area of the grille and another from underneath and determine how to release the sensor from rear of the grille and remove the connector from the sensor.
