While this was a completer in box unit, it was taped up and the box was damaged. This damage was not disclosed and looks to have happened after the listing because there was no tape in the picture

  • More is better!!

I have owned one of these cameras for 3 years. I like it so much that I bought another one for years to come. Pros: Battery, excellent life. Will last for more than a month if you just leave the camera around. Battery hasn't need to be replaced after 3 years of use. Quick to start up, quicker to shoot pictures. The mode dial on the camera is perfect. I leave the the nomral mode on max quality pics, the Simple mode I put on email size photos, so when I want a smaller size I will take two photos to avoid resizing or email problems. The Scene mode is great, learn how to use it! Small enough to carry in your pocket!!!

  • Digital Camera

This camera is compact and takes great pictues. I bought it to replace a previous one that was lost. It's not complicated to use and has a number of features. If you're not a camera buff it pays to read the instruction book that comes with it. That way you will take better pictures depending on your surroundings etc. It's reasonably priced and durable. I'd recommend it for anyone who travels or just to take to a party or event. Probably not best for those sports events if you're in the nose bleed section.

  • Digital Camera Review

I really like the small size, and ease of functionality. It has all the features of my large, bulky camera, yet the picture quality is superior. My sister was looking for just such a camera and when I saw this one on eBay I sent here the link. She bought it and after I saw it I bought one too. We both bought upgraded SD cards and now we only take the highest quality photos. I used this camera during Independence Day celebrations and took hundreds of pictures and a few video clips, yet there was still battery life left and more picture room. The picture quality is fantastic.

  • Small, lightweight, carry it everywhere with you camera

I've owned this for 4 years. I originally bought it to take with me on two motorcycle trips of 4000 and 7000 miles each. It has always met my expectations as a small camera I can carry with me anywhere. The best camera is the one you have with you. I've got thousands of pictures because this camera was with me. I attached a neck strap for a mp3 player so it never gets away from me. That important on a motorcycle. There really isn't anything I don't like about it. That's why I'm writing a review. I'm here looking for another one or the next model the FX9 with 6 megapixels. My brother hates this camera. He has digital SLRs. He says you can't even set the aperture or shutter speed. I replied, Not even at gun point. I want a simple, lightweight, carry it everywhere with oyu camera; he ...

  • One the the better cameras I've had for the money

My previous camera was the Kodak Z700. I don't take pictures much. The majority of the cameras use was for taking pictures for Ebay listings (about 85%) The biggest reason I bought this camera was for it's ability to take upclose detailed photos where the Z700 would be very blurry. Also, the benefit is the rechargeable battery pack that lasts a TON longer than the AA batteries required in the Z700. Overall, for what I paid for the Lumix FX8...in my opinion, can't go wrong. Very happy with my purchase.
