Really good iron but be prepared to keep the water up to it
I was concerned about the one heat for all 'feature,' as some reviews suggested that it wasn't hot enough for cotton and linen, but I trialed it on a cotton & Battenberg lace tablecloth and linen pillowslips and they all came out perfectly having been steamed smooth rather than heated smooth. The iron is heavy on water however and needs refilling more frequently than my last iron. One thing I don't like is the different way of wrapping the cord around the base - more fiddly and no benefit over the last Philips Azur iron I had. Doesn't get creases out, too much steam
I can't recommend this iron. It doesn't get all creases out and a ridiculous amount of steam comes out. I had to refill it twice on one linen shirt and the ironing board cover became soaked and stained the sheet I was ironing. Had to buy a new one. My old 20 dollar iron does a better job. I want my money back on that one I'm afraid. I'll need to buy a different model - not a philips!

Best Smart steam iron for domestic use
I bought this product for domestic use via Bing Lee relying on feedback ( CANSTAR & PRODUCT REVIEW) / the brand initially PLUS the DEAL ( Cash Back)/ 2 Years warranty. I am writing this after using this iron on jeans/ cotton shirts heavily wrinkled garments. I have one word to add FABULOUS. Its intelligent system automatically adopts heating intensity & steam according to the kind of fabric its being used on. This is my first premium Brand of Iron in Australia and as of date I can admit its been a wise decision. My earlier products Hitachi/ Kmart brands have started sticking on the garments and have lived their life. I strongly suggest consumers to read the user manual before using and understand that this is a SMART product and can not be compared with cheaper brands. Yes its super fast ... Purchased and dispatched next day due to after hour. Iron is great and is exactly what I expected. More than enough steam for anybody, no one can complain about lack of steam. Steam turbo is also very exciting, feeling and hearing the vibration in the iron is very cool, liking driving a miniature car. Tested on a polyester dress pant and cotton shirt. Both result perfectly and DynamicIQ works fine, giving out more steam to the Cotton shirt than polyester pants. Tested the auto shut down on polyester pant by leaving iron on sole plate on the pants. The iron didn’t really “shut down” however after about 4 minutes of sitting on the polyester pants, the iron didn’t burn through and the sole plate seem to radiate lower heat comparing to when it’s being use. In summery, higher is more ... Purchased and dispatched next day due to after hour. Iron is great and is exactly what I expected. A quality iron at the premium price
Very happy with the purchase of Philips Azur Elite. It is easy to use with the default setting, no selection of the type of fabrics. It has lots of steam. However it is heavy but this helps to slide the iron while you are ironing, no pressing is required.
