    Ideal for a motorhome

    It was sold as refurbished so I was expecting it to have a few scratches or marks on it but it appears to be brand new. With a nice large screen, it’s just what I wanted for my new motorhome. All I had to do to set it up was to enter the vehicle length, width, weight, height and the unit did the rest. The only slight drawback was that it took about two hours to do a full eastern Europe map and safety camera up date, although that was still 50% faster than another manufactures sat nave I had a few years ago.

    Excelent GPS

    Another excellent Garmin GPS. Gets you where you want to go. Plus you can enter the specific size of caravan or camper van and it will direct you down the correct sized roads.

    Glad I considered and bought it

    The package as described arrived soon after ordering it. The box clearly, and proudly?, stated that it was a refurbished product with its contents carefully wrapped in various ways. It worked straight out of the box but needed updating, not difficult. My only ‘criticism’ is that the box didn’t have a manual and the usb device to computer cable is very short. The lack of a manual isn’t serious as the device has one built into the software but… Of course, one can be downloaded - which is, in my opinion, the best way. Having been a TomTom aficionado for many years it is quite a steep learning curve to get to grips with it; I’m still learning, sometimes with exasperation! For example, using the Poi Loader to install POI’s is fairly straightforward once you realise that Garmin Express is ...
