    Powerful quiet impact driver!

    I wish I'd bought one of these years ago! The impacts are so quiet that you mostly hear the motor noise instead of the hammering. The impacts have "give" to them, which means much greater control and precision than non-hydraulic drivers. In framing lumber, it will drive a 3" screw just a split second slower than Makita's or Milwaukee's newest non-hydraulic impact drivers. This driver will also drive larger lags and screws faster than the Milwaukee Surge, which was a surprise because the Surge has a higher torque rating. This fun to test! I'll be using this now instead of Makita's new XTD16 for all fastening of 4"or less fasteners because there's hardly any difference in speed. It also weighs a hair less than the XTD16, and is a whole pound lighter than the Milwaukee Surge (which is why my ...

    It's so much better than a ordinary cordless drill

    I bought this one as it's the latest and top model from Makita. Today I tried it on 20 large hex head, 14G, 125mm long wood screws, the result is amazing, I would never be able to do it with my most powerful Makita cordless drill, money well spent.

    So Quiet but still has balls

    I’ve wanted one of these for awhile. Where I work every one has an impact gun. I can’t stand the noise they make. This one makes hardly any noise at all! It’s still got all the power you need. Great gun!!

    Fail on first use

    I am a little bit dissapointed. I bought two of these drivers. The "impact" on one of them didn't work from the beginning. Continued working with it for a few minutes, but I stopped as smoke was coming out of the machine. Going to buy a new one though, because the other works fine and I bought three batteries for these are my first Makita tools... :-(
