Shallow but safe, more humor than most things like this
If you know who "S Club" is, then you will most likely understand the movie and all of the elements-- if you don't know who S Club is, then it is a fairly good stand alone comedy, some sexual references, some threats, but not bad. One of the S Club members commentary includes warning the viewers that this is not a major Hollywood picture, and not to expect Oscar level performances. They understand who they are, what they job is, and how the TV show, music, and this all tie together, and they don't think of themselves as superstars. In short? They really are talented, and they don't take themselves too seriously. That actually helps the overall feel of the movie, and playing the extras and listening to them admit that they are real people, with real dreams is enjoyable. I a world of ...
