Years later I started having problems with the on/off/volume switch, but at the time I was able to order a replacement from Sherwood. I installed the new switch which worked fine, but as a precautionary measure I also installed an inline switch in the power cord, that worked for years, until the volume did not. I kept the unit for years because it was too pretty to throw away. Thanks to you my old Sherwood works again.

If you have a Sherwood 7100 or 7200, you NEED this combo power/volume switch. The stock/factory ones eventually ALL fail. The part is quality, and he stands behind it. "I'll be back!" And you should buy here!

The pot was shot, eventually wouldn't turn on. This replacement along with Deoxitd5 for the other pots, brought back my family history. Well worth the $150 Canadian, if your not afraid to use a soldering iron. Thanks again

The digital Instructions for download are satisfactory for the job. Capacitors in the kit are cross referenced to the Service Manual however the Transistors and diodes are not.
