    For the right audience it is great, for others O.K.

    For those like myself, who love inspiring true stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things to help America, this movie fills the bill. However, this show is not for anyone who wants spellbinding acting, colorful scenery (its black & white) or special effects. On the surface, its a typical post WWII "B" movie. It is the moral values and and inspiration available for those who look to see them that caused me to give the film my high rating. As typical for the era, there is no graphic violence (although there is some combat footage), or obscene language, and suitable for a PG audience.

    REAL history from WWII

    After reading "Ghost Soldiers," the riveting WWII story of pows in the Philippines, I wanted to see this true story. I URGE readers to get the book. Movie is very old but the main character voiced for its authenticity. Happy to own this movie
