I have validated / tested the product (after a few uses) and will confirm it is a cheap and very poor knockoff of the real thing. I was initially doubtful about its capacity when it arrived, as it is less than half the weight of its Ryobi competitor. The "6AH" battery battery lasts approximately as long as a 2 AH battery, and runs tools at about 90% of the speed of Ryobi. This product is not as advertised - beware. It is new but not as advertised. Not cheap - underpriced to match undercapacity
