    Speeds up the editing of long continuous recordings.

    I have had the speed editor for a few days and it makes editing with DaVinci Studio much faster. For example, I no longer have to drag the play head to get to an edit point. I use the jog/shuttle wheel to get to edit points quickly. I can set trim ins and outs quickly. also the drivers for device only allows it to be used with DaVinci Resolve/Studio.. It will not work with other editing software. You’ll love the speed editor if you get one. also, you might want to consider the full blown keyboard that comes with a license for DaVinci Studio.

    If you use DaVinci Resolve, then this is a great addition to your video editing suite/studio. This is a time saver and makes tricky tasks you did with a mouse easy and straight forward. This will save you time and lots of it! Money well spent and a bargain.

    New and discounted Speed Editor works great!

    Got a new speed editor at a discount. I was suspicious at first but it works fine. I figure the reason that it is discounted is because it doesnt come with the studio key. It comes with a usb c to usb c cable so if your pc doesnt have a that port just use a usb c to usb a like most phone chargers this days and you will be fine. If you already have a copy of Resolve Studio this is a great value!

    Big Improvement!

    For a serious video/audio editor, Black Magic's Speed Editor is an excellent addition to the Davinci Resolve software platform. Once you learn it's layout and shortcuts, the tactile feel and use of it is a huge improvement over the mouse/keyboard method. Can't beat the price!

    You have to understand this was built to work with the Cut Page and it's great in that role.

    If you know what it can do in the cut page of Resolve then you know how useful it is. Goes to sleep if Resolve is not running but you just tap a button and it's on again.
