    • The 50th issue shines...and is portable too!

Absolutely the version of this album you need ! Perfect sound....great out-takes,and packaging that makes this easy to store and take disc into your vehicle or on the road. This has a hardy slip case with two mini LP gatefold covers made of hard card....plus a nice booklet with all the info and liners. The new mix is clear and hiss free, nice to hear , but the old master has slight hiss but more echo like you remember (the cymbals echo across the left / right channels if you recall that for instance?) . The alternate mix version of the songs on disc 3 make all the powers of this band and Greg Lake's vocals shine out obviously. I do not have a Blu-Ray to hear the 5.1 mix....but I'd bet it's amazing since Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree did it. Maybe someday....

    • Better than my original 1969 copy

A flawless transaction on a deluxe set of one of my favorite albums of all time. The original '69 mix had the drums over-compressed, at times sounding like cardboard boxes. This unfortunate flaw has been remedied here. A lot of extra material is included, fun but not essential. I lack the ability to listen to the 5.1 mix, so I can't comment on that.

    • Disappointing at Best

As a huge fan of this album, and consistent wisher the original lineup stayed together for more material, I was really hoping the full remix from the original tapes would be able to punch up the sound, but not to be. Still sounds very muddy. Instruments still get lost, vocals sound like they were recorded from across the room. Maybe this is just the reality of 1967 recording technology, but to my ears (covered with rather high end headphones), this BluRay version does not sound much different than my 1967 vinyl or the cd pressing. I expected more from this DVD. Track listings are generic track 1, instead of song names, etc. The extra material is interesting- once. Nothing re- playable here Save your money. There is really nothing gained with this version. Unfortunately.

    • Mini-box with huge content

This is a 5-star product because it contains everything you want in this classic album. It is the best digital version and I highly recommend it to music collectors! Even if you don't have a 5.1 setup, it is still worth the purchase for Steven Wilson's remix that is faithful to the original.

    • The King of the Court!

Awesome album in its own right… start to finish. Put it on 5.1 surround, and it takes its place near the top of the pile of best sounding albums ever! You just can’t go wrong with this gem!
