new perspective
Physically, the 8mm fisheye is a solid lensIt appears to be all metal, including the lens hood (fixed) and lens cap. Its waterproof. A few other things that I found is that the 8mm focuses very fast. Super Sharp. Its not a macro lens but its able to focus very close to the subject. As a fisheye lens, there's actually not much distortion in the middle of the lens. This lens has some slight purple fringing which can be fixed in photoshop. It really gives a more creative possibilities and different perspective of photography. I would highly recommend this lens for those who love to create different perspective of photography. The other interesting feature about the 8mm is that if you couple it with the EC-14 tele-extender, you actually get a wider field of view than you do with the 11-22mm at ... Autofocus do not work
The autofocus do not work properly. The pictures gets blurry and it is only possible to take a shot on every tenth try.
