    A treasure.

    If samplers are your bag, this book will be, too. Huge, detailed, full-page color photographs of samplers represent each era, each style. Women's work -- and children's! -- is so often unvalued and lost along the way. It's a thrill to find a book that embraces these small breathtaking executions.
