Kinda fits
The cap itself fits, but the connection to the car is a push button into a hole, and my car doesn’t have a hole. It has a peg instead. We made it work with a little creativity. I have a 2010 A3 hatchback.

Great product for MK4 GTI
This is an OEM product that took all of a minute to install. My old gas cap tether broke off and I was always concerned with leaving the gas cap behind. Problem solved! The tether just snaps into a little hole on your fuel door. No tools needed. To get the old one out, just pinch it with a needle nose plyers and pull it out.
