But I’ve since discovered that there was a bad breakage beneath the toaster which explains why in this instance the toaster wasn’t as described! This means that had the toaster not been broken, it would have definitely been as described and easy to get small items out of the toaster! I apologise for saying it wasn’t as described BEFORE I DISCOVERED THE BREAKAGE! It’s really a fantastic toaster
