  • Very good.

A simple story about family, community and self sacrificial love. The hero in this story is the teenage boy Carl who finds himself having to make adult decisions when he is still a school aged teenager. Carl's self sacrificial decisions stand in contrast to other members of his family who make decisions about their own future. As Carl commences on this new journey, his decisions impact positively on those around him. This is a wonderful short book which I can that I can recommend for teenagers and adults alike.
