  • Upon actual field use

Im a Paranormal investigator. Yep Ghost hunter but prefer not to be called a ghost hunter. The device comes in handy when it comes time to review evidence . My team and i could all review the evidence at the same time which is really great. Price is a little high. Modules can be purchased that have better amplification. Unfortunately I did not find out about the modules till after I made the purchase. But yes i would recommend this item. upon field use I did discover that the distribution between each channel works but the amplification is very poor.

  • Headphone Amp

In my case I bought a lesser priced 32 inch TV that did not have a headphone jack (a lot of them do not have that jack) only a Digital Optical Audio jack. My solution was, buy a USB powered DigOptAudio converter with the wire to attach the TV to the converter. note-remove soft rubber plug protector Ran an extension headphone wire to the headphone "but very little volume and no control even with a volume control" then bought the Pyle Pro Headphone amp. This gave me exactly what I wanted to use headphone so no one else has to listen to the TV and my TV speaker was not affected by this so one else can listen to the TV. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

  • For the Price, it's Excellent

I'm a bit of an audiophile, and bought this without doing a lot of research. I have a 4K TV with crappy built-in speakers, so I wanted a cheap headphone alternative for the TV without dedicating a high-end speaker/preamp/amp. Solution; turn the TV speakers off. I also got a cheap optical digital audio DAC to input the TV audio to the Pyle amp. This setup gives more than enough volume. At full amp volume the noise floor is quite noticeable, but at half to 2/3 volume, it's much cleaner sounding. For those of you looking for a high-end amp, do your research. Check out youtube's "How to Choose a Headphone Amp and DAC"

  • Good quality for the money

This is a pretty basic headphone amp, but it's all you really need. Great for studios when you need to feed 4 different headphones. I also use it to be a mini-mixer for various jobs, including boosting stereo signals when recording low level signals.

  • More than a headphone amplifier.

Clean audio, not just for headphones. I use one of mine as an "impromptu" audio distribution amplifier. Another is used to supply audio to my Christmas light display, feeding a PA amplifier from MP3 source, as well as a reduced level audio for the controller that has my lights "dancing" with the music. And, a third audio source feeds a low powered FM transmitter for audio transmitted to car radios on a free FM frequency.

  • A well built piece of equipment

This stereo headphone amplifier is small in size but big in sound and easy to set up is a good buy

  • Pyle-Pro PHA40 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier

Just perfect. I use it to power headphones from the line out of a media receiver. It works great, has excellent volume and can power four sets of headphones

  • Fine product - Sounds great

Could not be much happier than I am with it. Should have purchased a long time ago - makes watching movies better especially the ones with stereo soundtracks.

  • Worth the money!

I have not used it yet, but purchased it after seeing it demonstrated at a Ham Radio Field Day event. I ordered one immediately and had it inside of a week. It appears to be of good quality.

  • Got What I Expected

I wanted to wait until I used this a bit before reviewing it. I am totally satisfied with this headphone splitter. It does what I expected and if I order another, I will order this model again. Only real drawback is there is no power button, just plug in and out. That is a very minor thing to me though.
