      Cheap but not nasty - nice product

      I wanted a box for carrying my lock and bits and bobs for leisure rides out - not full on touring. This fits the bill nicely, is of reasonable quality and works well. I'm pretty sure it's not as good as a Givi or a similar big name brand but neither is it a cheap and nasty alternative. Time will tell on durability I guess but so far it seems tough, practical and useful. And at £27 including postage it is a steal in my view.

      Fiddly latch mechanism

      Top box seems like a good deal but when you look more closely it's pretty poorly manufactured, the plastic is quite flimsy, the reflector is just transparent red plastic clipped over a dimpled aluminium plate, not sure how reflective it would be. The base plate doesn't line up with the available bars on a Lexmoto rack so the fixing clips are all off kilter, also wouldn't trust the box to stay attached to the base plate much as it is easy to dislocate when trying to close the box. But the biggest gripe of all is the stupid plastic latch mechanism, it is very hot and miss as to whether you can get the latch to catch hold of the lid at all and takes a lot of fiddling and time to secure the lid closed, very frustrating and annoying, it's also a lock you can't take the key out of unless you ...

      Pleasantly Surprised.

      Have to say that for the price this is a great piece of kit. Fits securely and easily done. Decent size and reasonable build quality. Locking it was fiddly initially but there is a knack. For the price I recommend this box. We’ve had others that look better and haven’t lasted anywhere near as long.

      Well Made, strong and attractive

      strong and attractive. I found the catch fiddly at first but it didn't take long to get used to and most importantly it is very secure; it cannot be jiggled open. Bought for my son's motorcycle, he fitted it very, very quickly. The whole setup is so secure and strong that the bike can be lifted by the box (not recommended but useful to know). Plenty of storage for a few days light travel. A perfect size for a 125. I can only repeat how well-made and good looking it is.
