    Diamond T was a low-volume truck manufacturer located in Chicago, Illinois who produced trucks from 1911 to 1966. The “T” in the name was for Charles A. Tilt, who founded the company in 1905 to produce automobile chassis for custom body builders. They produced their first truck in 1911 and thereafter concentrated on truck production only. Diamond T remained independent until 1958, when they were sold to White Motor Company. White continued to operate Diamond T until their final models in 1966, after which they were combined with another White acquisition, Reo, as Diamond Reo, with production in Reo’s facility in Michigan.
