Seller admitted they never had the Limited Edition version and originally indicated they would accept a refund and pay for return shipping. Paid for international shipping to return the book, the seller refunded the original purchase price, but then stopped communicating and never reimbursed for the international shipping.

Not as good as the original game.
Having played the base game and really enjoyed it. However, in this new variation I was a little disappointed with the mechanics, and a couple of the "Cities" cards in particular, which were far too powerful, thus, somewhat taking the fun aspect out of the game. The original game had great mechanics with a couple of strategies to pursue victory, but "Cities" really has only the one that makes it a "first past the post" kind of game. For those fans of the original Splendor game, the variant is a little disappointing, and definitely not a "got to have it" kind of game.Having played the base game and really enjoyed it.
