Always having a lava lamp or two in my home for the past 45 years, this is a lovely lamp that lights the room with a great feel. Compared to lava lamps of the past, the base is made of very light material so you want to place it somewhere and keep it there as it can dent or bend under pressure. However, for the price, which was under $20.00, it is a steal.
