Thank you! Shipping was very fast. The seller graded it merely as "good", but I think it may be "very good". The price was low. It was protectively packaged for transport. I highly recommend this most trustworthy seller to all buyers without hesitation!

A+. The cost for the dvd and shipping were combined, which was great. The item was in great shape, as described. Quick response from seller. Item was sent Canada Post, to save costs, during the Christmas season so it took much longer than usual. No fault of the seller.

  • A game of the ages...

I purchased Warcraft 2 back in the late 90's after seeing a friend play the original Warcraft. Since then it's evolved into one of the few titles that one just cannot stay away from. Sure I might put it away in the drawer for a few months, but I always find my way back to it... It's relatively addicting. War2 comes with a mission editor to create your own maps or you can play the built in maps that come with the CD. The war2 community is basically split amongst the "custom players" and the "BNE (battle.net edition) players" - each having their own claim to being #1 somehow or another. One of the greatest things about war2 is that there is always someone better than you. Each map has it's own strategy and keys to victory. Some custom maps ...

  • Classic Warcraft w/ internet play

Warcraft II is a classic game from my younger years. I played the game for many hours against the computer and against my friends. We would play each other via modems. This did limit us to just two players. However, with the Battle.net edition up to 8 players can enjoy game play over the internet. The only problem I have encountered is internet connections with high latency problems which Battle.net gives an error to. Another nice treat is that both original Warcraft II Tides of Darkness & the expansion Beyond the Dark Portal campaigns are included in the Battle.net Edition. Basically a two for one deal. Besides these new features and a few bugs they cleaned up in this edition it is just the same old Warcraft that brings back good memories.

  • Vintage DOS to Windows/Internet Game--Super Cool!

To be honest, I haven't played this a whole lot. I've been working over Warcraft I on my way to Warcraft II before I really delve into Warcraft II: Battle.net Edition. However, I'm thoroughly enjoying tinkering with the BNE. Executing DOS commands for Warcraft I and II takes me back to the Windows for Workgroups 3.11 running over MS-DOS 6.22! The BNE improves on that concept only in so far as it allows for one of the earliest, GUI-based MMORPG games. If you want to experience World of Warcraft without the $15/month cost or all of the other details of WoW, Warcraft II: BNE is for you. It has excellent game play so long as you remember that this is a port from a DOS-based game designed for a lower quality of screen resolution. Also, this was a game that allowed for modem connectivity ...

  • Warcraft II for PC - XP compatible

Warcraft II is a classic game, often found on top 10 and top 100 lists of best (or most influential) games of all time. Finally a version has come out that is Windows XP compatible. The game can be found online for free if you look hard enough, but most folks don't have an OS that will handle a ten year old game. Arguably better than Warcraft III since the game requires the player to dominate land, sky and sea, this game was the blueprint upon which Warcraft III and Starcraft were built. If you've never played this game, you owe it to yourself to try it. Five Stars. -John
