Product Information

The Discovery Channel's reality TV game show is hosted by Jesse James, a quintessential motorcycle outlaw and an artisan of the finest caliber when it comes to modifying cars and bikes. The show is structured around a challenge to various teams of contestants, to take an automobile and turn it into a completely different machine altogether. The group is given seven days, a budget of $3000, and the final product must resemble a stock car, but be able to transform into the assigned machine. If the end result is a failure, Jesse feeds it to a shredder, though all of the endeavors are amazing examples of extraordinary ingenuity. During season one, Jesse and crew turn a Chevy Impala into a zamboni, a hot dog vending stand into a dragster; an attempt to turn a hearse into a shredder however, gets shredded itself. Episodes include "White Trash," "Pontoon Bus," "Hot-Air Balloon," and "Sling Ray."

    Great DVD for adults and kids

    My son is 6 years old. We watched Monster Garage fairly religiously on The Discovery Channel. My son has watched this DVD over and over and over again. There are 13 episodes - 3 discs. I enjoy the DVD's almost as much as my son - the first couple of viewings, but he likes to watch episodes over and over - this is his favorite DVD. I just ordered seasons 2 and 3. I would suggest ordering some of the monster toys - the nut shaker truck is my son's favorite. I like the trash truck, limo fire truck and the school bus pontoon boat. My son likes the mustang grass cutter a lot. I wish all monsters were available as toys, but only a handful can be found on the internet. I think the delivery truck might be available and Christmas is coming.

    Monster, Monster Garage!!!!

    Well my husband loves Jesse James and building stuff. He is a mechanic also so he likes doing anything with his hands that has to do with building. He loved season 2 and 3 so i got him season 1 to complete his collection til the other season's come out. He watches it over and over again. There isn't anything he doesn't like about the season. Monster Garage is the best.

    MONSTER GARAGE SEASON ONE

    I always watch the show on discovery channel because it is cool how they take one object and turn it into something completly different. I think it is a very educational show. I bought it because I have the other seasons and I needed it to complete my set besides when there is nothing else on tv I always have something to watch. HATS OFF TO JESSE JAMES
