Totally Not What I Was Expecting
I had heard a lot about this DVD and was expecting something incredible and I must say, I was let down. None of the stories had any kind of story, nor did they come to any resolutions by story's end. It was more like random scenes in black urban locations and dialog that made no connections to anything in particular. I'd never heard of Charles Burnett before this and probably won't after.
