If this board brakes I will buy another because its that good.
I have been wanting to try this thing out for a long time, like in a store, friend’s house or before I bought one. No one I knew has one or even knows what the heck it is and that goes for the Artist and CAD people I work with every day. I take that back, there was one guy that is a crazy good Artist and he had some but he treasured them like rare diamonds or something. At first I was going to buy a Bamboo or something cheap to test what a tablet could do but that one friend told me I would hate the Bamboo or anything cheaper. He told me the Bamboo and cheaper tablets were for writing and small stuff. I took his word for it because I never got one. I cannot tell you a comparison of this tablet to any other because I have not tried any other. He also told me that I wanted a Med sized tablet ... I have been wanting to try this thing out for a long time, like in a store, friend’s house or before I bought one. He also told me that I wanted a Med sized tablet because the draw space is my screen and the small was so small it’s hard to draw with. Now that I have this one I agree because the mid feels a bit small but he said if I got one too large it would feel just as awkward as if everything was exaggerated. Tablet I think I need to get a glove or something because my hand sticks to the board while using it. I know that’s not the boards fault but it’s something to consider. The drawing area does not feel like pencil and paper like everyone states but it doesn’t feel bad either. I personally don’t little the nubs that attach to the pen except the gray one with the spring. The black one is smooth and hard and it’s like running onto a sheet of ice with tread-less shoes on; I feel that I have no control. The gray one is soft and after a while it rubs off onto the board but it feels right. The spring version is also a gray one and it just feels extra right when you push down and it also goes down a bit, like all ink pens we use today. I personally like small diameter pens to draw with and this thing is huge. Next to the pen tip it’s about 15mm(5/8”) chamfering down to about 10mm(7/16”) @ a distance of 130mm(5 ¼”) the full length is 160mm(6 /8”). I love the buttons! The buttons on the mid comes with a display and you can macro text into the buttons to see what the heck it is. To make it even better if I go into Photoshop it says Photoshop undo and when in Illustrator its illustrator undo or the custom buttons I macro-ed for that program. The old ipod dial thing in the middle has 4 settings that you can change. For me I forget what setting is on and instead of zooming I am making the pen tip larger or the drawing is rotating all over the place. I might make them all zoom because that seems to be the only one I want. The big thing I am always hearing on Youtube is the pressure thing. I feel that I need to try other tablets to see if how different they are. But from what I have it works well and if I push hard its big and if I lightly push its small; making the pen tip size almost unneeded. When I am drawing I find that I cannot make a straight line. Yes this is a me thing again as I have to look at the screen and draw somewhere else. It’s a bit awkward but as any new device one would have to get accustom to it. Some learn faster as my sister just bought one because I showed her mind and she had to have one. She draws on the thing like it was made for her! So I give the tablet 3 stars because of me, for I am not good at using it but I like it a lot and want to get better. The board itself is more than what I thought it would be; like hearing about the iphone touch screen and only having knowledge of PC tablets

LOVE IT!! BEST GRAPHIC PAD OUT THERE!!
i love this pad. it is easy to learn if you have never been to graphic school or anything. the user manual on the website gives you tutorials and once you learn a few things, it's easy from there. it is excellent and easy to navigate your laptop or pc and you will barely use a mouse once you use this, i have the bamboo pen and touch for my laptop (from wacom also) and never use the mouse on laptop or the area for you to use on laptop, always the pad. as long as you can draw, you can use this (IT IS NOT A DRAWING TEACHER AND CANNOT MAKE YOU AN ARTIST!, but it can improve what you already do). i would give this 5 stars and recommend it to anyone. my friend is a graphic artist for a very well known company and this is the exact pad they use. Love my Wacom. It allows me to add details not otherwise possible.
As a portrait photographer, I wanted more control with post production editing. This tablet provides a pen that allows me to create sharp details that are not possible when using a mouse. The screen is also far superior to using a mouse pad. Although I have not used other similar products, my research confirmed that this model and brand fit my expectations for dependability, affordability, and excellence. I was concerned about a learning curve, but it is relatively easy to use.As a portrait photographer, I wanted more control with post production editing. This is no toy but it's as fun as one. Wacom is the only way to go. we have one of the old units (find them all day on ebay for $25-40) that still works fine but going to this level is night and day and boy what a sunny day we have. picked up new un-reg unit so we were able to download free brush kit and free software. got for free Nik Color Efex pro, PS Elements 9, AD Sketchbook 2011 and CP Sketch pad. All free and all with prod-code/License keys. We had pu a used unit but they did not know what medium meant and sent us a small. now that we have a New unit I would recommend this to anyone - wicked cool tool that works it should - view the how to vids to get the most out of it. we pu this brand new unit for 280USD to our door but we see the seller has sold them from 200-290 so shop ... This is no toy but it's as fun as one.
