Love the drive and the features
I have no complaints about the drive. It was easy to setup. Quite short time from plugging in to being cloud accessible. I love being able to sync my phone with the drive and was easy to set this up. I have copied all of my digital movies onto this drive and use it with my Roku 3 and the Roku Media Player channel. The drive is very quiet. Does the amazing job, but slowwww
it stores you files well and the integration with your phone and laptop is good, software is very good and it never stopped working for me (using it for 2 years) - the only problem is the speed, to upload 2GB file it takes me about 5 hours.. and if I want to use my backup (1TB computer backup) it doesn't work because it takes too much time... My Cloud Setup
I had wd set this up because the smartware was not working, about 10 phone calls, consequently, they got windows to set an ap up that shows the progress of the saving of files and pics. It works but I was looking for a simpler way to access My Cloud and manage it. They did set things up for me and everything is working, but without the Smartware ap. Easy set up for My Cloud
I had very little trouble setting up the My Cloud drive. The instructions were for Windows 8 and before. Having instructions for Windows 10 would have been helpful. I got two I can’t recall the only problem now is one is outdated on the firmware. Still works locally but not web based. Since the new update doesn’t support the firmware version. Overall, a creative device. The operating instructions could be better written though? To this date, I am not sure how to move data from the cloud to other devices.
