Quality CCV Filter
I found this air oil separator through an online forum, did my research and found Australian Car Parts selling this Ryco RCC350K. The kit contained all the basics as described to install the filter. Being that it is designed for many different applications some extra hose and connectors need to be purchased as expected. The filter housing is sturdy and well built as is the filter mounting bracket. There is some design features that make it better in my opinion than the common competitor. For example in air inlet is on the bottom and return air is up top, this will eliminate any leakage to seep back down into the air return line. This filter and filter media looks robust and will filter any particulate or oil mist because it is not just a screen, but a synthetic paper like material. The ... The inlet and outlet ports are larger than most filters in this size and application range. I have a 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine and am highly confident it will not create any back pressure to the factory CCV due to the large volume of the filter, filter housing, and inlet/outlet ports. It is everything I was looking for in a Crank Case Breather Filter System. I could not more highly recommend the Ryco filter to anyone looking for a quality CCV filter. In addition I would not buy it from anyone else other than Australian Online Car Parts. They responded to my many questions surprisingly fast. I live in United States and even with the time/date difference my questions were answered the next day if not sooner, often within a few hours. It was a pleasure to work with them and will do so again in the future.

Catch can itself is great. Only issue is the inability to buy the correct bracket for the vehicle by itself. Comes in a kit and is excessively expensive.

Better quality than similar priced products
Great product, from the construction, packaging, to whats included in the kit! I had this kit unboxed and fitted in my 2010 Ford Ranger in under half an hour. While the mounting kit is generic, its not hard to figure out. I was impressed with whats included. I used my old hose, and a second short length I had kicking around in the shed. Overall, it looks and operates like a well made product, and i look forward to years of service. Kudos also to HS Motors who sold it and rapidly sent it to me. Cheers, and well done Ryco.
