Edelbrock Air Gap intake great for Roller Cammed 383 Stroker, Highly Recommend
Edelbrock RPM Air Gap is great intake for mild or well built 350 and 383 stroker motors. Most guys will say that this intake is over priced. Yes it is pricey, but for what a regular Performer RPM cost and then you add a 1 or 2" spacer to get the same affect, you will spend the same or more. Quite frankly it wont perform or look as mean in my opinion. I installed on Roller Cammed 383 Stroker 450hp+/500tq+ in my 83 C10. No heat soak issues that I had with my last built 355 motor. Coming from a guy that is cheap, and been known to have to go back and redo things, get it right first. Also do not buy the Air Gap knock offs. I have seen dynos where the motors actually lost power, as much as 20hp, and thats on mild motors with less then 400hp. Plus the fit and finish along with the casting ... Has a lot of rough edges I'll have to file or clean up . Can't use 9/16 intake bolt heads because the manifold interferes with the bolts .
