His diary revealed hed discovered a fabulous seven mile seam of gold, worth millions, but would give it all for a loaf of bread. Despite hundreds of expeditions since, the gold has never been found.     Excellent Video depicting Harold Bell lasseter as much more than a gold fossicker.

    Lasseters Bones Doco is a very interesting video with an interesting ending in suggesting that the Aborigines have found the reef and are keeping people away from the area by using threats to the life of those who may be adventurous enough to enter the so called sacred area. The video is quite professionally done and contains a lot of historic information regarding lasseter and the "Out Back" of Australia. Definitely worth a look see by anybody with an interest in the history of Lasseter, his life and the reef.
