    Another quality British tv/video series

    Some television series start to lose their focus by the fourth season, but Dalziel & Pascoe fans can continue to enjoy the unique characters' challenges in professional and personal life in a very creative law enforcement series that is one of my favorites. A lot of good stuff comes from the UK like Bob & Rose, Afterlife, George Gently, Judge John Deed, I Claudius, Midsomer Murders, Harry Potter, numerous versions of titles from Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Shakespeare, and much more, including Dalziel & Pascoe! Highly recommended.

    Good British police drama- worth watching and owning !

    Having rented this series from the local library; I started to purchase on line the series on-line for my private collection of BBC productions. To watch Andy Dalziel, a grizzley old D.I. square off with his D.S.partner-Pascoe on investigaion techniques brings tears to ones eyes. While different personalities, both in reality compliment themselves. In this day of cigarettes being long and filtered, it is almost comic relief to watch Dalziel light-up regular size ones. In this series the writing of themes is well done, especially when compared with what Hollywood produces.

    Good viewing.

    If you have seen the previous Dalziel and Pascoe series let me reassure that this new season maintains the quality that you have to appreciate. If you have yet to see this series, you can start with this one, but I would suggest starting with season 1. Very good police drama featuring a crusty older working class cop partnered with a younger, more educated subordinate. It makes for good detective work and gives you a couple of characters that you come to like very much.
