My daughter wanted a blue camera she is 11. I was surprised at how nice the pictures look! It has tons of feature that my big camera has. Very easy to use and a great size.
I bought this as a birthday present for a family member. This person is not into technology as she is in the 50-60 age range. I wanted something that was not complicated to use but still packs some punch. One of the things that made me choose this was the affordable price. She did not need anything that was too expensive as the camera will not be used too often. I like the design of the camera without too many buttons as she will easily get confused on how to work it. I also like how the buttons are placed which make it easy to maneuver. I have not seen the pictures yet, but I would imagine the quality to be average if not above.
I'm not a camera buff or photography expert, so my review is somewhat on a high-level/user-type. For this Samsung camera, it's actually a good thing, because this camera is more for the consumer who just likes a camera that produces good quality pictures. You know what? This camera delivers great pictures and plus MUCH MORE! The pictures are sharp! even in low light. This Samsung makes videos, but so does all cameras out there, what's special about this? It makes .avi videos. Avi format is a standard that is compatible with many devices. My fiance has a Kodak camera that makes quicktime videos instead of avi videos, and you have to load special software to play quicktime files on the computer. Our DVD player can play avi files, so we can burn the files directly from the camera to CD's/DVD's and they'll play on our DVD player to the TV. Actually, our DVD player has a USB port so we can save CD's/DVD's by putting them on usb flash drives and playing them on the DVD player output to the TV. I also have SDHC USB reader, so... There is just no way to do this with quicktime video files. YOu have to convert quicktime files and most likely lose quality during the conversion. The SDHC memory is very easy to work with, and again, compatibility is the key selling point. This camera is USB-chargeable, so I prefer to charge it using the usb port on my laptop as opposed to the wall charger to usb brick. This takes longer but it will give the lithium battery a longer life. So, if you want a very good and affordable point and shoot camera, then this Samsung SL202 is an EXCELLENT CHOICE!Read full review
Like the small size and easy to use functions. Inexpensive, just point and shoot, has good setting for more advanced users too. Could use a regular site window. Very happy with purchase all the same!
This camera appears to be about a year or so old. Still alot of life and works like a charm. It is easy to use - has alot of setting options - and makes great pictures. I needed a camera with more mega pixels and didn't want to spend a fortune. Also, pink is my favorite color. There was no instructions manuel; however, on YouTube there was a demo and detailed information. VEry happy!
