Item could've been packaged better for such a long trip from Germany to U.S. There was no padding or packing material to keep the item from rattling around in the shipping box. Outer box packaging was intact and tape was still sealed, so it wasn't opened by customs. The inner box containing the model came apart and pieces were loosely laying in shipping box. Everything appears to be there and intact, but for such a rare and expensive model I expected a little more care to go into packing it.
