    Great value. Long lasting, musical and very quiet tubes.

    Better to say that they are no good and buy them all myself. But I already bought 3 pairs of this great sounding tubes. I have many NOS tubes to compare. These tubes are in my top range tubes and now playing permanently in my tube AMP. Long lasting, musical and very quiet. The seller gets also a 5 star Rating.

    The best latter-production batches of a very widely used preamp tube 4 amps

    These puppies when absolutey brand stinkin' new (unused) run about $60.00 each! This one had some time burning on it so it went for about $40.00...... I love 'em. The blue print looks captivating for one fact. They are of Sylvania manufacture and are the best of the "C" for 12AX7WC last ones made before Sylvania closed-up shop. I have used them in my eternally lit up 1963 Bogen AP-200 25w+25w integrated amplifier for preamp and splitter positions and the give me no crackle, hiss or hum and will more than likely punk-out long after I have slipped on through to the other side of the veil.

    Great Valves

    I use two of the Philips miniwatt 12ax7 along with two Mullard 12au7 and four Svetlana wing =c= EL34 valves in a Primaluna integrated amp. I really like this combo, the Philips add a little bit of an airy top end with a dash of sparkle whilst along with the other valves helping to create a lush rich full mid range with the bass being controlled but not overly tight. Worth checking out and in my limited experience better than new modern valves.

    Great Vintage Tubes

    Love these 60's Mullards, best pre-amp tubes I've ever used for older Marshall style amps. After all those amps were designed around these tubes, and they're going to sound best with Vintage Mullards loaded in them.
