  • A Disappointing Adaptation of a Phenomenal Graphic Novel

    I have lately been bulk buying and binge watching DC animated film that I have purchased from JB Hi Fi and about 95% of them are great but unfortunately I got my hopes up about this film. I have read the absolutely outstanding and phenomenonal graphic novel in which it was based but to not be biased I watched this film with the intention of critiquing it as it's own thing without making a comparison. The first 28 minutes of the film are unnecessary as all it is Batman and Batwoman chasing a misogynistic but otherwise generic thug who is in the mob then. They catch the mob thug, Batwoman quits and that is literally the end of that, for good. The real movie begins 28 minutes in and it's actually not too bad but it's too short and really deserved to be a two hour animated epic but instead ...
