    Fairly fast paced, sex down played,some anguish/angst

    I have all of the Anita Blake books. I've been disappointed in the last book, lots of sex, little to no plot, not much action. The Skin Trade (I'm not sure where the title comes from)has less sex, fairly rapid paced, still with lots of anguish/angst. Edward is back as is Bernardo and Olaf. Olaf is a scary guy but now they have this serial murderer trying to socially date Anita. You an't socialize a wolf or a bear, what makes the author think that a serial murderer can be socialized.

    Laurell K Hamilton is the best!!!

    I love these books. This is book 17 in the ABVH series and it is as amazing as the rest. I am an avid reader of this author. I am only half way thru the book and I am loathe to read it quickly cause there is months till the next one. I highly reccomend this series.
