Straight out of the box
Like the title says, I took it out of the box, put batteries in it and my 13 year old Panasonic Plasma tv had a 100% functional remote control again. I had my doubts when I ordered it because other people had told me remotes were no longer available for my tv but I really hate those remotes that work the volume and channels but not the tv guide or whatever so I tried this one and......yes....as described it is 100 % compatible.Like the title says, I took it out of the box, put batteries in it and my 13 year old Panasonic Plasma tv had a 100% functional remote control again. A regret purchase
Although it was designed for Panasonic but it's not as the original as it's missing the (Home & YouTube) buttons. Every time I need to go to the (Home) screen, I had no option but to turn off the TV and then turn it on again. Very annoying to be honest. Plus, the battery cover clip is very weak, once I opened the package to install the batteries, the little clip got broken straight away, I was only trying to open it with my finger not using any other tool. Even after installing the batteries, I noticed that the batteries are not correctly fitted as I can hear the wiggly little sound when I pick up the remote. I could've just bought the $7 generic remote but preferred your product over anything else with descent price, however, it was a regret buying it. So I hope that you can improve the ... Genuine it's not it's an aftermarket part.
The ad said it was a panasonic remote and shows a genuine product. It needs to say its an aftermarket part. Its cheap and not as study as the original product. No problems with it working. It looks nothing like the photo. Don't lie about it being the real deal.
