About this product

Product Information

Assigned to an abandoned army post, Civil War hero, Lieutenant John Dunbar (Kevin Costner) finds himself alone and beyond civilization. Only a wolf and some roving Sioux Indians provide distractions. Item as described, not sure when it arrived at work because seller didn’t bother to advise the Tracking details & it went to the wrong building. Packaging was disappointing - a non-padded mail bag & a piece of thin card either side of the dvd case. Either use bubblewrap or use a bubble mail bag. Luckily it wasn’t damaged in this instance. No communication other than eBay confirming purchase. I am not recommending this seller.

This buyer received the same packaging that I send every other purchaser. The address the buyer provided me is the exact one that I specified on the parcel. The buyer made no request for any special packaging nor was I physically involved in the delivery and according to Australia Post staff the item was delivered. I would not recommend this buyer as they are unreasonable and unfair and will likely insult you online rather than communicate directly with you. A very rude buyer. Do not trust!

    Well worth a look at !!

    A lone army man goes west and lives cheaply, helps a local girl and her horse recover after bad accident. Instead of fighting all like modern other stories, he slowly comes to accept local traditional ways and they eventually accept him. A heart warming thoughtful story. Then the army arrives 'bullies' who arrest him and imprison him. Good wins in the end. A drama portraying bad and good. some violence bits fit in the story ok, Well worth a look at !! :-)

    Outstanding and powerful film

    This film is an oldie now, but a goodie. It is a powerful story about a soldier injured in battle who then opts to be posted to an isolated post out in the middle of the prairie but arrives to find it abandoned. He wishes to see the Last Frontier before it is gone - lost to the encroachment of the white settlers. It would seem a very lonely place but for the company of his trusty horse, Cisco, a curious lone wolf and the Sioux tribe who soon become curious about his presence as well. He forms a friendship with the Sioux people and finds that they are not the thieves and beggars he has been led to believe. In fact, they are more loyal and trustworthy than the vile band of white men that take over the fort while he is living among the Sioux.
