      Sega Sports Supreme!

      Not many people I can think of consider all the sports games developed by Sega back then as part of the history of video-game sports. This one still manages to hold its own unlike what my friends play that were developed by EA instead. I at least feel nostalgic about Sega anyway.

      Why I love NFL 2K

      I am , by definition not a football fan. But the moment I laid eyes on this game in action, in mid-1999, I fell in love with NFL 2K. At the time, the visuals blew away anything else on the market. I was working at a Gamestore on Long Island, and we had the game playing in our windows, and I don't know how many people stopped and asked"What's the score?" because they thought it was a real game going on. One of the main reasons I enjoy NFl2K so much is the commentary. Though the game's graphics were gorgeous and the gameplay smooth and responsive, the banter between Dan Stevens and Peter O'Keefe is what drew me in. Every time I played I woul d hear something different, whether they were talking about player match-ups,a team's particular strategy, or how stupid I was for always going for ...
