Bully has always been a favorite of mine. Only real issue with the game i can think of is the amout of load time and the time it self that it takes to laod. But as technology grows and gets faster, we sometimes forget how long we use to have to wait for load times.

Bully Review: Pros and Cons
Pros: It's fun. There is nothing like stuffing someone in a garbage can or a locker, nailing a bully with a sling shot, making out with girls from different social groups, playing dodge ball, or tripping a jock with marbles. It keeps your interest as well, and it gives you a sense of time progression (from a Halloween Party to a Christmas party, and on to the next season). You are also free to explore and do other missions like the Grand Theft Auto series. Finally, the stereotypes are utterly hilarious--- from of the wall gameplay nerd quotes of "learning to speak Elf" or a mindless bully going around yelling "DESTROY, DESTROY!!!" Cons: It is just too easy. Most missions I beat on the first try. Even the bike racing you would expect some difficult but really ... Pros: It's fun. I would consider renting it or buying it used rather than new due to it's ease of completion. It takes about one to two weeks to complete unless you want to get 100 percent completion, which consists of walking around collecting rubber bands and cards.

Bully - deeper than your typical Rockstar game
This game will grow on you and gets better and better the more you play it! It isn't your regular mindless game; if you aren't mentally sharp, you won't be able to pass it! Rockstar has taken a great concept and made an excellent game. You are a short tough guy that spends his time between going to class, dodging bullies, and hitting on girls. The REAL game happens when you get off campus. It is a whole new world that opens up and it really gets to be a ton of fun. The part that I really respect about this game is that it really challenges your mind in a way that I have not expected from Rockstar. For example, when you go to English class, you they will give you 6 letters that are scrambled, and in 3 minutes you have to think of as many words as possible out of those letters! Some ... This game will grow on you and gets better and better the more you play it! It isn't your regular mindless game; if you aren't mentally sharp, you won't be able to pass it! Some of them can have as many as 40 or 50 potential words and you have to at least be able to come up with 50%! And it's not like a typical game where you can just come right back and try it, you won't be able to try it again for a few real life hours! Another challenge is to push the exact button on the control pad at the exact second. They have taken it a step further because they have full animation playing in the background so distract you, with your teacher talking to you and trying to throw you off. Each time it uses more and more buttons in a totally random fashion. The story line is also fun with so many mini quests it will keep you playing and entertained for hours. The one reason that it is not a 5 in my book is the load time. It seems to take forever to load up the game initially, and then every time he goes to a new scene, it takes forever to load. The graphics are good, but not for the level of load time. It loses a bit of the momentum every time. Beyond that, once you get the hang of the controls and then get off the campus, be ready to become further addicted! In regards to the violence for kids, the only good thing is that no one ever actually dies, and there isn't any blood. Just kids laying on the ground like they were kicked in the stomach. If you learned something new here, take a second to review it. Thanks and have fun!

Bully for you!
My 16 year old son asked for this game, Bully. I did a little research and liked what I found. This game puts you (as character Jimmy, 15 yr old new kid in town) in situations with various boarding school bullies and gives you the tools to stand up to those bullies. Bullworth Academy is run by a clueless administration and different social cliques that are always fighting. You figure out how to fend for yourself while attending classes, avoiding authority figures, and occasionally kissing girls. The interesting story and unique setting are what I like about Bully. Bully is school, and you are to attend two classes each day with curfew at 11 pm. Going to class is beneficial, as there are tasks to complete in class that give you bonuses. There is no time limit for missions or classes. Plus, as long as you dodge the prefects on campus or the police in the nearby town, you can stay out until 2 am, at which point you pass out and wake up at 8 am the next morning. After watching the violence of other teen games, I liked that the weapons in this game are adolescent ones, such as a slingshot or itching powder. No one dies. Also, this is not one of those games that are impossible to win. No task is terribly hard and there are hidden objects and other things to keep your interest in playing again, once you do "win."
