Bought this used for a Xeon e5 2600 series v3 (Haswell) Max ram speed is 2133mhz so I went with this. I bought 2 modules from two vendors a few months apart. Both survived 3 passes of MemTest86 with 0 errors. Using it for for FreeNAS and ZFS works better with ECC. Been quite happy, for the cost, they make perfect sense for a used xeon build.

Good price on ECC Registered DDR4 RAM compared to prices in COVID environment. This RAM works well in my HP Z840 workstation. This 128GB (8x16GB) of RAM is combined with pre-existing 128GB of RAM that was labelled as HP RAM (though still Samsung), and it is totally compatible. Speed is not as fast as more recent DDR4 RAM, but 2133MHz is a fast as my E5-2680 v3 Xeon can take advantage of. Package arrived in good shape and in a timely fashion. It is nice to get all 16 DIMM slots full with 16GB RAM for 256GB total. In the 1st week, I have already benefited from the extra RAM, as running PixInsight has peaked my RAM usage to more than 200GB while stacking photos.

I can't afford the amount of ram my system can run, but a little at a time I'll get it to where I want it. This matched my original ram perfectly. My system is already a bit better since this installation.

Worked well and would be my first go-to for my next build.

I bought 2 sticks of these, installed them into a HUANANZHI X99 8M motherboard + a Xeon 2630 V3. Everything fired right up perfectly, althought because of the CPU limitation it's running at 1866 mhz. Still excellent.
