Synopsis
A busy merchant banker at White's Bank and a member of an Art Fund, Tim Simpson does not relish the thought of having to give a speech at a small art gallery in the tiny village of Highton under the pretext of helping out the 'boss's mate'. However an ex-rugby player, Tim never runs from trouble and is always happy to help the locals, particularly when they are in a spot of bother. Tim happily sends off a couple of heavies, sent round by one of the bookmakers to Mr Goodston, his local bookseller, but his curiosity is aroused however, when it seems they were not sent chasing money after all. Further oddities occur when the murder of a researcher and the theft of several paintings lead Tim to the conclusion that something big is happening. But what is the connection?, A busy merchant banker at White's Bank and a member of an Art Fund, Tim Simpson does not relish the thought of having to give a speech at a small art gallery in the tiny village of Highton under the pretext of helping out the ?boss's mate'. Seller replaced item. Also, eBay issued refund and considered order closed. Replacement also had manufacturing defect. I can't access replacement order in the system to obtain defective item return shipping label. Seller advised me to keep item, or donate to library.
