The Complete Divine is written for characters who like to play clerics, paladins, and to a lesser extent mages, rogues, and druids. Classes: The book includes a number of new base classes which are well designed and can be integrated into any campagain setting. The new classes are designed with warrior/clerics in mind, an alternate druid class, and an additional oriental class for the oriental setting. Prestige Classes: A number of prestige classes are added to the book. Many of the prestige classes are well done and may be adopted to a number of classes, but there are a handful which are not inspiring and can be hard to apply to a specific character. There is a prestige class for each of the base classes though meaning there is something for everyone. Feats: A number of feats were included in the book mainly with priest, mages, and paladins in mind which are incredibly useful for any adventuring party. The feats grant greater flexibility with your class and also include additional abilities on to already existing ones. The feats section is a must have for any priest, mage, and paladin. Additional Content: A section is included for relics. Relics are holy magical items created by a servant of the deities. In some cases, these relics are granted to a follower by a deity. The book details the items power, its appearance, which faith the relic is for, and how to create a relic. The Complete divine includes two new feats that allow a player to create a relic and also wield a relic. This section is very interesting and is useful for a dm and a character as well who is planning on wielding such an item at higher lvls. Final thoughs: The Complete Divine is a great book to acquire for your collection if you like to play clerics, paladins, or druids. The book is also a very useful tool for Dungeon Masters who would like to include a specific prestige class or relic into their campaign setting. I would highly recommend buying this book.Read full review
The Complete Divine is a decent book for DMs looking to add more supplemental resources. It only has 3 regular classes to add, but has many prestige classes. Mostly the reason this book is good is cause it has more spells & feats for the game. My overall opinion is that while it's not as useful as the Complete Arcane, it's still a good book if you get a good price.
