Set in Europe in 1942 during the desperate times of WWII, the Nazi forces rage through different European countries. Medal of Honor: European Assault is a shooter game featuring an open game design structure. The hero of the game is Lt William Holt, an American serviceman on loan to Britain’s Office of Strategic Services, who has been instructed by the President of the United States to carry out a secret mission. His instructions are to slow down the German advance by carrying out clandestine raids on the German war machine, sabotaging supply lines and carrying out direct attacks. It is a first-person shooter game. Showing the brutal realism of war, the mission in this Sony PlayStation 2 video game is to play a pivotal role in four of the most crucial battles in WWII that lead to the Allies’ victory in Europe. Lt. Holt can carry this out with the help of his squad or as a solo mission. Part of the Call of Duty Franchise, this video game has an M rating, making it suitable for mature audiences only.
